Bolted

This piece observes the beauty of bolted vegetable plants. The dramatic, curious approach represents this cabbage in a fragile and vulnerable manner. I specifically embrace the unappealing vegetation, the straggly overgrown and the overlooked. This work also shows the story of the work done underground, the roots, highlighting the beauty and diversity in the undergrowth.

Bolted is presented in an Perspex box frame and can be hung on the wall.
